5 Steps To Buying A Home In San Diego

  1. GET APPROVED FOR A LOAN

    Before you start looking for a home, you must have your financing in place. Knowing your buying power makes all the difference.   2. KNOW YOUR BUDGET

    You should have a concrete understanding of how much you can afford for your monthly mortgage (principle, interest, taxes, insurance, aka PITI). Before we write your offer, you will also need to know how much you are required to pay for costs such as loan origination fees, escrow fees, insurance, taxes, and the down payment. In many of our transactions, we have negotiated for the seller to pay for much of the closing costs. Nevertheless, understanding your budget is key to a happy home purchase.

  3. KNOW WHAT YOU WANT

    Location, location, location. The larger you expand your possible locations the higher the likelihood you will find a suitable property.     Looking at listings is a good start to finding a suitable home. You have to go out and start looking at houses. This is the best way to evaluate and understand the market.

    It requires teamwork to get your deal to the finish line.
